Raymond Kurzweil, inventor of sick shit, predictor of a lot of shit in the future (he has been correct about shit in the past), is now spitting some shit about a technological singularity in the year 2045. Basically hes saying theres gonna be some sick ass robots that can make robots more intelligent than themselves. Once this happens the robots will accelerate technological advancement so fast shit will get whack. There is no denying that Kurzweil is a genius, but the film does a good job of finding critics of his ideas. So many geniuses are in this doc is retarded. Even William Shatner makes a couple appearances.

Watch Visions of the Future

Fascinating view of the future, hosted by Michio Kaku. This third installment is to me, the most interesting (nano-bots and futuristic material that bends light!) but i definitely recommend all three. This series showcases what some of the brightest minds predict our technology will bring us both physically and socially, while emphasizing that the most important question to ask is why and not how when dealing with emerging discoveries.
